Bulgaria’s national football team is set to face Luxembourg in an upcoming match, marking a new era as the team transitions from the shadow of its past legends like Hristo Stoichkov, Dimitar Berbatov, and Krasimir Balakov. Currently ranked 85th in the FIFA world rankings, Bulgaria finds itself only 14 places ahead of Luxembourg, highlighting the challenges it faces in reclaiming its former glory.
Under the guidance of head coach Aleksandar Dimitrov, who has been at the helm since September last year, Bulgaria has achieved a mixed record of three wins, one draw, and four losses.
